Default New in town ... car needs work

Just bought my second Miata and it needs a few things ... new top and a speedo cable replaced. Any recommendations??? Also a good paint shop number wouldn't hurt.

Thanks,

Denny

Thanks ... ended up ordering one from Moss, only $50 for shipping plus alot of other pieces parts the car needed. Kings Upholstery is taking care of the top now and the Mazda dealer took care of the speedo cable so I should be up and running this weekend. See you guys around!

Body and paint:
I just had bumper work done and United which was a recommended shop by State Farm. The paint match looks great and they came across as very honest and sincere. The insurance work says ~$1100 for a new bumper and paint.

United recommended Golden Upholstery for top work. They quoted me $850 for a glass window replacement top for the NB. That's quite a bit cheaper than the quote I got from Fred's.

$1100 for a bumper and respray? I guess things are higher here. For now I'm going to ride how it is, overall it's not too bad some elbow grease helped it out alot but down the road it will need a respray.

The cable replacement was $250 with the part, about $50 more than I would have paid online so I should have ordered it when I ordered the top to save a little. The good thing was they broke my meter hood and had to order me a new one, so that was a free $150 part.

Sorry I missed the meeting, been busy moving in and learning at work, I'll catch one before too long!

That's what the paperwork said but it was all covered by State Farm since a SUV tapped me on Keeaumoku. They replaced the whole bumper cover and did a nice paint job. An out of pocket job might be cheaper.
