Spam users

Sorry, there was a user that looked legit, and then proceeded to PM everyone with SPAM. I have deleted the user. Please do not open any of the links the user "Seredipity" sent you.

This is becoming a huge pain in the ass to weed out good and bad users... I might have to completely restrict registration unless someone emails me personally.

what! you can PM SPAM? i didnt get anything! i love spam!!!! even with rice and eggs or in fried rice! im hungry......unless you talking about e-mail spam! I hate that!!!!

Spam is the price of easy internet connection with each other, and a club that welcomes new Miata people. Thanks for tossing the creap, but most of us are grownups and Should recognize scam/spam and just Don't open anything weird. If it ain't about Miatas, it's junk!
Legitimate ISP addresses help to identify real people. LOTS of spam is xx...x(then two numbers)@gmail.com. Hotmail like me, suspicious but less abused.

i've been screening ips. just can't totally just delete all those that dont come from a hawaii.rr or hawaiiantel ip. i just delete those that come from europe, those are definitely spam.
but yeh, i usually catch the spammers quickly, but if you see one pming or posting and i havent caught them, just let me know.

i just made registration much harder with questions they must answer. it seems capthca image verification crap is a piece of shit!
