Why couldn't those fit on my MSM! :x
Maybe I'll buy em anyway.. for the NA!

I don't believe they fit over the big brake calipers. I noticed I posted them for 600, I meant to ask $500 if that matters.

I know they don't fit, I called and asked. :(
Kinda wanting to put the small brakes on just to fit those!
Are the hoosiers any good? $500 is a deal.. hehe

The reason I am selling them is because I can spin the rear end at will with 180 ft lbs of torque. They lowered my final drive ratio too much. They are the rims and tires to have for a CSP car, not the best for SM2, especially since I will soon be pushing 210 RWHP. Eventually I plan on building a Lo-Cost and if I don't sell the rims I will just keep them for that. I am also thinking of building a CSP dedicated car some day. Who knows.

You're kidding right?
Besides, it would not feel good having more grip than the competition. Just something I don't believe in. You're kicking my ass now, which I can see is due to your better driving skills. Something I applaud you for, and something which pushes me to improve. Might upgrade car here and there, but will never create a car that is drastly better than the competition. Then a win becomes a display of one's pocketbook.
Then again, Panos has that kind of grip right? so getting this kind of grip ain't exactly unfair. Eheh.

To CSP 18,
Oops, just realized I misread your post just now. Whatever I said then does not apply. Still believe that, but it is now out of context. Sorry.

I'm not sure what you meant, but no problem, actually the decision to buy the setup was mainly fueled by the fact that i'm in desparate need of new tires, and this is perfect timing.

Also I agree, money shouldn't determine who wins or who loses, If i had alot of money, i'd be supercharged and in sm2 like i had originally planned, but due to monetary and mechanical issues, my white car nor my wallet cannot handle boost at this time. Besides, bev kicked my ass royally this last race

Don't feel bad, we ALL got our asses kicked by Bev.. though Dan would have gotten her by a second if he didn't cone. She's just good, and now I'm scared to enter CS if she's gonna come out alot.

Remember... Bev installed her new shocks just before race day.

New shocks weren't gassed out so her car was sitting like an inch higher in all four corners like an off-road vehicle.

She'll be driving faster when they lower and level off

Actually, her rims and tires seemed to stick out past the fender lips. Did she get the wrong offset rims for CS? If so then you CSP boys are gonna be in trouble! :P :P :P

I just ordered some Ecsta V710s fo next month! :D

I am having flares installed and going with 335-45-15 tires.

Just kidding....I am trying to get 225-50-15 heat cycled but they are backordered and I might have to go with the 205s instead. I sure wish Kumho sold 215-50-15 or 225-40-15s.

Hey Avery, how was the Cal Ripkin CD? Any good?

We're already in trouble. But, I enjoy watching Bev race and consider it a good schooling evolution. So I'd rather she stayed in CS where I can watch and learn. Besides, I already know she can kick my okole any time she wants.

As of this posting, which would be late Wed afternoon in HI, I am still in Saipan. Shifting over to Japan this afternoon, won't be back in HI until late July.

So far I've VID'ed at least 7 separate Miata's on this small island. :D Mostly all stock, but there were one red and one black NA each that have been customized. 8) Actually started to talk with the owner of the black one (nice wheels), but he's an older gent and, unlike our Ervey, not at all an enthusiast. Would've liked to meet the owner of the modded red NA (rims and rear spoiler), but only seen that car once in passing.

Tell you what, though, I wouldn't own a Miata here. :? Other than the three main roads which are asphalt, the streets use coral based pavement. After any rainfall, they become treacherously slick due to algae. Either FWD or long wheel based RWD would be the ticket.

Hey dan thanks for the rims and tires, I forgot though, do these need any hub centric rings?

EvoRoadster
07-24-2005, 02:01 PM
Nope, mount them as they are. They were special made for the Miata and are hub-centric. I did use splinedrive lugs with them and don't know if standard size lug nuts will fit. How do they look!

By the way, what is your girlfriends name... either I never knew or I forgot! [/i]
