Hey guys, I got some free parts that anyone can take but it has to be by Friday. If no one wants em, i'm gonna trash it

1 90' Head w/160k miles, previous owner said that the head was rebuilt about 40k miles ago.
1 90' Short Block with damaged crankshaft keyway
1 convertible top frame with old non-usable top

I engine still has some misc brackets and stuff on top.

Engine ran well, no smoke or nothing until the pulley started to wobble. Did the locktite fix and that lasted until I pulled the motor to put in a 93 motor.

Jus to let you know, the engine has been outside in the rain so the exhaust studs are all rusted.

I could use the water pump outlet to the radiator hose fitting.

I worry a lot about my loctite fix. The bolt didn't really fit the threads as well as I'd like. If I can figure a place to put the short block, it's found a new home!
Can you carry a short block with a Miata?

ok corytomo gets the convertible top frame and the head

sorry avery, but that piece was taken when i did the motor transplant. About the coil pack, that was changed with my coil pack on the blue miata which died (dead coil pack was thrown away).

GTXhawaii, are you saying you want the short block? If so you can fit it in the miata, but i'd recommend that you take out the passenger front seat to transport it. The block would ruin the foam in the seat.

you guys can call me at 284-1871 anytime after 4 pm
I'll be disassembling the motor tomorrow night in Hawaii Kai, so you guys can meet me there if you want.

see you guys soon, hopefully

Oh, one more thing. I would not use the short block as is cause the pulley is wobbling again. I think the keyway was jus too bad. Just use the block to make another motor. Plus, the motors got over 160k miles on it.

I can probably drop off the head at your house Cory... As long as it's in a bag or box. I'll be wearing work clothes as I'm doing sales calls in Pearl. I'm always passing your house off Komo Mai.

Supersuk... Give me a call or if you have Sprint you can text me at the number I left in the PM. Just leave a message if I don't answer. As I said, I can pick it up the stuff if you are somewhere around Pearl/Honolulu.

Oh hey, that would be perfect! Bill T. offered to pick it up, but since you're closer, I think it would be easier.

Thanks both you guys!
