I test drove the car. Entirely OEM stock. The color is dominant metalic blue with a hint of green depending on lighting and angle. 1.8 Liter, grey black cloth interior with the 7 spoke 14"x6" rims. The condition of the body is really good (no dents),... interior is excellent. Power windows, cruise control.. The soft top is in excellent shape and the rear plastic window was recently replaced. The engine oil is bright and clear with no signs of blow by. Needs to replace the accessory drive belts because they're squeeling and it looks like it still has the OEM tires, but that's minor. Engine looks solid. The shocks are acceptable. Trunk carpet is wet due to recent clean "shampoo-ing". No comment on the price. It's a car owned and driven by a really nice woman

That car sounds almost perfect. Add a Rollbar and it would be perfect. So did you buy it?

I called about this car several hours b-4 I bought a 2000 for $10,000..I really wanted the 97 more but she would not budge on her price.I feel I should have waited just in case she came down. When I looked it up the Kelley $ was between $6,500 and $7,500 w/ the stated 52K miles..........OH WELL................
